The right training.
For the right equipment.
Practical plant, crane and lifting equipment training for new and experienced operators, delivered across the UK.
Training that fits the job.
Plant and lifting equipment varies. Workplaces vary. Operator experience varies too. That’s why we start with what your people actually need to do. We match the training to the operator, the equipment and the working environment, building the practical ability, technical knowledge and judgement needed to work safely and competently.
1
Select the level.
Whether someone is operating equipment for the first time or building on existing experience, we make sure they receive the right level of training.
2
Select the accreditation.
We offer training through leading recognised accreditation routes, including:
3
Select the equipment.
We deliver training across a wide range of plant, crane and lifting equipment used throughout construction, logistics, industrial and commercial environments.
-
Rough Terrain Lift Trucks (J)
Training for rough terrain masted, variable reach and telescopic trucks used in demanding outdoor and site-based environments. Operators develop the skills needed to manage stability, load control, visibility, ground conditions and safe manoeuvring across uneven or restricted areas, helping them operate with greater confidence in challenging real-world conditions.Industrial Variable Reach Trucks (J)
Training for industrial telescopic and variable reach trucks used in warehouses, factories, yards and distribution environments. The course focuses on safe load handling, reach and lift control, stability, accurate placement and effective manoeuvring, helping operators work safely and efficiently in environments where precision and space management are critical.MEWPs – Scissor & Boom Lifts (3)
Practical training for mobile elevating work platforms, including scissor lifts and boom lifts used for working at height. Operators learn how to position and operate equipment safely, manage stability, assess hazards, understand platform controls and work confidently in environments where access, height and surrounding activity all need to be carefully managed.Loading Shovels
Training for operators using loading shovels to move and manage bulk materials in construction, quarrying, waste, agricultural and industrial environments. The course develops safe manoeuvring, bucket control, load awareness, stability and site safety, helping operators handle materials efficiently while reducing risk to people, equipment and surrounding operations. -
Lorry Loader Cranes (C)
Training in the safe operation of lorry-mounted cranes used for loading, unloading and positioning materials at delivery and work sites. Operators learn how to set up the vehicle and stabilisers correctly, assess loads, control lifting movements, maintain stability and carry out lifting operations safely in a range of working environments.Lorry Loader Remote Control (+E)
Conversion training for operators using remote-controlled lorry loader cranes. The course focuses on safe remote operation, operator positioning, load visibility, controlled lifting movements and accurate placement, helping operators make effective use of remote systems while maintaining full awareness of the load, equipment and surrounding work area.Overhead Gantry Cranes
Training for operators using overhead gantry cranes in factories, warehouses, workshops and other industrial environments. Operators develop the knowledge and practical skills needed to assess loads, use hoists and lifting accessories correctly, control load movement and carry out lifting operations safely and accurately around people, equipment and fixed workplace hazards.Slinger / Signaller
Training for personnel responsible for preparing, attaching and guiding loads during lifting operations. Delegates learn how to select and use lifting accessories correctly, assess load security, communicate clearly with crane operators and use recognised signalling techniques, helping lifting operations remain controlled, coordinated and safe from start to finish.
Training on the equipment they use
Where suitable, training is delivered at your workplace using your own equipment. Operators learn in the environment they work in every day, with the equipment, loads, layouts and conditions they actually encounter. That makes the training immediately relevant and allows newly developed skills to be applied straight back into the job.
